Who We Are

A belief that autism is not a flaw.

Prabhanja Makam is a charitable trust created from the belief that autism is simply a different way of experiencing the world. We stand as a pillar of support for families navigating this journey.

Why We Exist

You are not alone.

For many families, an autism diagnosis brings confusion, fear, and isolation. We were founded to remind families that support, understanding, and hope are always possible.

Our Core Beliefs

A world where autistic children are accepted for who they are.

Dignity & Respect

Every child deserves dignity and respect, regardless of how they communicate or interact with the world.

Compassion, Not Judgment

Families deserve compassion, not judgment. We provide a safe space for parents to feel heard and supported.

Lifelong Change

Small acts of support can create lifelong change. Early intervention and kindness pave the way for growth.

Dr Anisha V Founder of Prabhanja Makam Autism NGO Kanyakumari

From the heart of Dr. Anisha V.

Prabhanja Makam was born from listening—listening to children who communicate differently, and to parents who quietly carry questions, worries, and hopes that often go unheard.

As a parent and as a human being, I have seen how early understanding, gentle guidance, and timely support can change the course of a child’s life. I have also seen how easily families can feel overwhelmed, isolated, or judged when their child’s needs are not understood.

Prabhanja Makam exists to remind families that autism is not something to be feared or hidden. Every child has their own rhythm, their own strengths, and their own way of engaging with the world. When we meet them with patience and compassion, remarkable growth becomes possible.

Our work is rooted in respect—for children, for families, and for the journey each one is on. We believe that even small acts of support, offered at the right moment, can bring lasting change.

To every parent who visits us: you are not alone.

To every child we serve: you are valued, just as you are.

To everyone who supports Prabhanja Makam: thank you for standing with us.

With hope and gratitude

Dr. Anisha V.
